i see that to take the best advantage of top player 17-30, they should do 2 jobs:
-taking the ward tower of the enemy
-slowing down high lvl : before towers
or before our ward tower
ofc the choice depend on what tactic we choose
and osrry for my english mistakes (im working on that)

What we need to have is follwing things (in my humble opinion ofc..) :
- 4 good teams ranked in battle rating. The 2 best ones go for farest towers and the 2 others teams take the nearest 2 towers. The rest of the 34 people can either attack their ward tower, protect ours or rush on whoever they want to slow down.
- then we need a VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION SYSTEM in order to allow teams to switch depending on opposents teams attacking us.. Which means faster defence and faster taking back of our towers.. This communication includes sharing informations about movement of opposentsd teams and locations.. For this i recommend to use the 34 "lower" (including me ) people. But this recquires discipline and no trolling in party chat...
- and of course LUCK

what are the top 16 not in team supposed to do?
I think 4 teams is best way... or two large teams of 8.. North and West... and 17-30 players in two groups between towers to prevent/delay them from going from one bottom tower to another (or top tower to another)
rest attack ward tower or defend ours or delay them before they reach towers..

i feel u jacques ... but we need to be sure we can defend our towers first.
in my oppinion we can win the gb with only 2 towers ... and from time to time take a 3rd one for the extra points ... this is the way they win it last time

So going for time and keeping 2 towers will grant us the win ?

members from team 1 and 2 could easily switch with other guys and make a team for attack

I think we (the teams) should stick together and learn to play together to improve over time. Also if we change Team/Tower-setups, its gonna be total chaos again whos doing what, where ...
Well thats my opinion. If we got 2 attacker teams and 2 defender teams, we could easily change a def-team with an atk-team. But ripping teams apart in midst of battle sounds like a bad idea. :/

Its important for everyone to understand that, perfection of guild battles does not come over night, it takes a long time to get right and as we progress we will improve, and hopefully be able to accomplish more difficult challenges that lie ahead of us. Just be patient and observant and we will do just fine.

i dont think we are strong enough to defend even 3 towers walkin ... thats why i didnt make 1

Ideally 8 strong teams are needed 4 at towers obviously and 4 rapid support teams 2 strongest need to be pushing NE and SE Say if we start at West spawn site.
That way we can place just a little lesser geared teams at SW and SE.
2 progression teams in between SW and SE, The other 2 Between NE and NW until we make progress on a third tower.
E.G. We take NE as a third have the 2 progression teams north move in front of NE and slow the bigger guys 8 similar Battle rated guys so even if group is mixed there all similar and should gel together.
Visa versa if we take SE.
Work on getting 32 active players to work on this and sort groups to start practicing it over and over till it works smoothly. That will 18 players running at their ward tower keeping pressure on at all time as randoms.
Just to note we really should practice worst case scenarios everything goes tits up we need to drop all towers and nuke their ward tower to push the win.
Shouldn't be needed if everyone stays calm and sticks to their jobs.
Also it was tossed around using skype ventrillo murmillo team speak but imo might cause more issues as it is a flash player channels can add more stress to a computer and cause more unessesary crashes.
If the leader of the GB stays at one of our closest towers it should help him organise and more time to sort things.
Just my 2 cents.

We were outnumbered but we fought well, maybe we should reevaluate the role of minor players as warnings for undefended or heavily defended enemy towers

cant do that when not even 50 showed up, do that an you will get less next time and again and again till u cant even contest
